guest post from everyone's fav Aussie.

Oh hey y'all! I am sure as you read this, I am up in the air somewhere between Richmond and Turks and Caicos sleeping because our flight left at 6am on the dot. Today I have a real treat for you! My favorite Aussie is guest posting on the blog. I swear, Kristen is the sweetest, funniest and best comment leaver blogger that I have ever met! Her commentary just simply cracks me up and I love her honesty. So without further adieu.....Take it away Kristen!

Hi everyone! Firstly I wanted to say a huge thank you to the incredibly sweet, gorgeous and generous host Caroline for having me over her place today while she is on vacation. I blog about a whole lot of nothing over at See You In A Porridge, and today I am sharing my favourite vacation with you.

I am from Australia and I live in Kentucky. Before I moved here, I visited the US, I have been to England (twice), not to mention a few places around Australia and several places in the US since moving and getting married. But my favourite vacation - I'm gonna have to go all predictable on you - is the one I went on about 2 months ago, and that was to Australia. Is it a vacation if you are visiting your home country? I say yes, because I wasn't working and my husband had never been so we were very touristy.

There are so many reasons that this was my favourite vacation. It was so fun to see everything through my husband's fresh eyes, and it was good for him to see me in my element. A lot of my 'crazy' made sense after he met my family!

But the number one reason it was my favourite vacation is because I saw my family whom I hadn't seen in 2 years. Nothing better than family!

You can see more photos here if you want. So tell me, what has been your favourite vacation?

Isn't she just the cutest ever?
Thank you so much Kristen! I was super excited to see that she posted about her recent trip to Australia....it is for sure on my bucket list! Make sure to follow her adventures at See You In A Porridge. I'm telling ya, she is a funny one!

Ashley will be here tomorrow with something wonderful and I will hopefully be back for a quick check in on Friday.

Much love!

xoxo,

  6. Awww love seeing these pics again! Your trip to Australia makes me so jealous. I think they'd ban me from the country if I went though. I'd try to steal a koala for sure.
