About

I'm Caroline.
And I'm so glad you're here.

I am a self-proclaimed non domestic, total mess and skinny fat. And am not ashamed to say that when I'm not at work making amazing lighting decisions, I thoroughly enjoy laying on our sectional, under an ultra fuzzy blanket, contemplating how to get my husband Reid to make dinner. No, that is not all I do but it's pretty damn close. I love picking out things that are too expensive for our 5-7 year plan house, anything from Lilly, J.Crew, or Anthro, playing Diamond Digger on my iphone and stalking insta

Reid and I were married on December 8th, 2012 and have been figuring out together this thing called marriage. We are overly obsessed with our two sweet and crazy dog children, Sampson and Tuggy, who clutter up my insta feed on the regular.

Our most exciting news to date is that we are expecting our first human child in September 2015.
This will be the most crazy adventure yet and I hope you grab some Starbucks, find a comfy seat and watch our lives get flipped up-side-down.

I do feel incredibly blessed that my South Carolina born and raised hubby moved me home to Virginia, and am SO thankful for the friends and family that we are surrounded by. I love the life that Reid and I are building in Richmond and can't wait for y'all to follow along.

If you ever want to chat, just hit me up any ole time.

  1. Just stumbled onto your blog, I see you haven't posted in a while, but...Williamsburg is one of my absolute favorite places on earth. We go all the time. But having attended the University of Virginia, I concur about Charlottesville(although I do probably think that title lies in and around Lynchburg;) And we love Richmond, especially Carytown and Shockoe Bottom. I live in Durham now, which is also pretty amazing(especially when it comes to food, voted tastiest city in the south last year) but my heart belongs to the commonwealth! sorry for my novel and abundant usage of parenthesis in this comment. haha

  4. I grew up on the outskirts of Virginia in Toano! Love your blog, my dear. I'm living down the road in Providence Forge now, and moving to Mississippi next year. Hopefully I'm southern enough for them down yonder. (Ha)

  6. I already love your blog and I just started reading! I grew up not too far from you. I grew up in Maryland, but my parents always took us to Virginia and we still visit today. It is such a beautiful state. I look forward to reading more post =)
