a birthday weekend surprise!

Happy Monday y'all!

I don't know about you but I am sorta thrilled about the promise of a regular week ahead. Now, while I would love to be all posted up under a cabana in TCI, I am a.o.k. with getting my life back on track at home and at work.  My house is looking sorta cra cra right now and I did nothing this weekend to improve it's condition.

Oh what did I do this weekend?  Well I am glad you asked!

Friday, Reid and I celebrated my 30th at one of our favorite restaurants, Azzuro, and had the most delish meal. I left the phone and camera at home so we could catch up and day dream a little about our previous trip.

Saturday was filled breakfast in bed, reading, lunch at Boka Tako, a stroll around Stony Point Mall with our pup Tuggy and then home to a waiting surprise party for me!

So, my sweet hubby and my bestie Kristen schemed, plotted and planned the most wonderful shindig to celebrate my 30th. I love these two people so much it hurts and cannot thank them enough for going out of their way for me! Everyone I loved was there and it truly meant the world to me to be surrounded by my closet friends and family. The food and decorations were amazing and the company was even better!

Sunday, I did absolutely nothing. Not.one.damn.thing. I laid in bed until noon reading, then went downstairs and laid on the couch some more. Took a bath and then went to bed. It was amazing. Def exactly what I needed.

Enjoy some fun pics from the party!

I am FOR REAL posting my vaca recap on Wednesday, make sure to check it out.

I am off to Williamsburg for a business meeting, check y'all later!

xoxo,

CAD

A special thanks to Biana, and Meghan for hosting their wonderful linkup!

  1. Glad you had an awesome birthday weekend! Such a good idea leaving your phone at home so you can actually talk without the distractions of technology.
