Bumpdate: 18 Weeks.

So, it's only Thursday...that's the bad news.
But the good news, is that I've got a bumpdate for you.
Now your week is complete...

How far along: 18 weeks

Size of babe: a sweet potato...how cute!

Gender: Count down is on! 1 week till we find out.

Maternity clothes: Now that it's getting warmer, I'm able to throw on some existing dresses from last year and make it work for now. But as for pants and shorts, yes, I am totally rocking the full panel.

Stretch marks: None thus far.

Best moment of the week: Last weekend was heaven. I laid in bed, ate a ton of carbs and spent some much needed time with my little niece and nephew. My nephew Palmer asked me, "Auntie, how did your baby get in there?" referring to my tummy.... I told him to ask his uncle Reid.

Miss anything: Good God yes! I am dying for an adult beverage. Not because I am an alcoholic or anything but because I want to feel "cool" again. And I hate that side eye that the waitress gives me when I say "I'm fine with just water".

Movement: Still those little flutters...can't wait to feel a full on kick!

Sleep: I am sleeping like a rock these days. I have stopped drinking water before I go to bed and that seems to help with the urge to go pee in the middle of the night.

Belly button: Still in but it is starting to look weird and I don't like it.

Cravings: Sweets and potato chips....And have you seen these? If they were at my local WaWa, they would consume my life.

Symptoms: Felling full after eating, hungry all the time, pressure in my stomach and breaking out like a 15 year old...seriously, I have never in my life had acme like this. And can we chat for just a moment about round ligament pain and sneezing while laying down? Holy cow....I thought I might die. That was no joke.

Researching this week: Rockers...why are they so damn expensive? I am thinking about enlisting the husband to tackle this Ikea hack. What else you got for me?

Looking forward to: Ummm this time next week we will know if this growing bump is a boy or a girl! Could there be anything else more exciting?

Linking up with Annie and Natalie today!

Check y'all tomorrow...

xoxo

  3. Round ligament pain is no joke! Drinking water helped me with that and just remembering to get up slowly. I'm so excited for you to find out the gender! And I totally feel you on the rocker thing.. but I absolutely LOVE our PBK rocker and think it was worth every penny. Wait until PBK has their friends and family sale and you can use the discount towards the quick ship rockers :) Also, they can ship to store to save you shipping + surcharge fees! Woo!

  6. Yay for finding out the gender next week! It's so exciting to finally know if baby is a he or she. I was blown away by how expensive rockers were too. If you have a Pottery Barn Outlet near by I suggest checking them out. That's where we found ours for a crazy good deal.

  7. Don't even get me started on acne!!! My face has never looked so bad in my life and I can't put any acne medication on it! I finally ordered some natural/organic supposed to be great for acne and safe for pregnancy skincare. I'll let you know if it works. Round ligament pain is the devil! Only on the right side too!
