I'm baffled it's only Wednesday.
This week is dragging...anyone else feeling me on this?
I am also baffled how big this bump of mine is getting...
here's the latest on that topic.
How far along: only 16 weeks
Size of baby: a dill pickle
Gender: only 4 more weeks till we find out!
Maternity Clothes: oh yea. I totally popped early. Everyone is promising me it is either bloat or the fact that I was tiny to begin with. I choose to believe it is all baby and not the entire bag of Lays potato chips I ate yesterday. Ps. I am rocking these in the picture above, they are amazing.
Stretch marks: none that I can see...yet
Best moment of the week: eating that entire bag of chips mentioned above and receiving our first couple baby gifts.
Miss anything: an ice, cold beer and that club sandwich is still on my mind.
Movement: yup....little flutters!
Belly button: still in.
Cravings: Anything sweet and salty. Chocolate covered pretzels don't stand a chance in our house.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Chicken still grosses me out and really any meat at this point. I really have no interest in it at all.
Symptoms: Headaches, headaches and more headaches. I will tell you that I have found some relief from peppermint oil in the shower and Vicks Vapo Rub. I literally rub the Vicks on the spot that hurts and the numbing affect dissipates some of the pain. My bras are also driving me nuts. I am having this little tingling feeling where my underwire hits. Looks like mama is going bra shopping this weekend. And maybe heart burn....jury is still out on that one.
Researching this week: Baby carriers. Think I have it down between the Ergo 360 and the Lillie Baby Airflow. Got anything to share about either of these?
Looking forward to: Hearing the babe's heartbeat at my 16 week Dr's appt this morning and maxi dresses...I am dying over this one!

Tomorrow...it's getting real here on the blog.
I'm letting some of my preganacy crazy out for sure.
xoxo
my bras are KILLING ME. I have never been anti-bra before but you can bet the moment I'm home, it comes off. I've bought 4 or 5 since I got pregnant because I was desperate for relief, but nothing beats going without. Hang in there, mama! (and I'm totally guessing it's a girl!)
ReplyDeleteEating an entire bag of chips would totally be the highlight for me too!!! You look great girl and I love your bump! :) xo, Biana - BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteYou look amazing!!! Ohhhh I love hearing crazy so I'll definitely be back tomorrow! ;-) j/k but not really. I love unleashing some crazy/rant driven posts! It just feels so good to get off your chest right? ~Amanda~ Meet @ the Barre
ReplyDeleteYou look awesome! I'm super jealous of your bump already. Everyone keeps saying I won't show till around week 20 because I'm tall. Looks like your fatigue has gotten better. Good to know because at 13 weeks I'm still exhausted daily!

We are a no stroller family so I am all about carriers! If you are interested in the Ergo, I would suggest a Tula instead. Better shoulder straps and back support. I would also recommend something for the newborn stage, either a ring sling or a solly baby wrap. Looking beautiful; love that little bump!
ReplyDeleteLove your growing bump! Wish I could give you a big hug right now! xoxo
ReplyDeleteawww i love your little bump! bummer about those headaches but hey if the vicks rub works i say use it! xo jillian - cornflake dreams
ReplyDeleteOMG you look amazing! Love that little bump! Umm yes to eating an entire bag of chips. How can that not be the highlight of the week? Hope your headaches get better!
