Hey y'all! Ashley here today, sharing one of my most favorite dessert recipes of all time. Did I mention it's probably the easiest dessert to make? I seriously bring this to every work event or social gathering we attend! Sadly enough, I've made this twice in the past two weeks...and my husband was so sad because he didn't get any. There are two versions of this dessert, which is great because I sometimes make one of each and people think it's two completely different recipes! Let's get right to it. My mouth is already watering just thinking about it.

{Oreo Ice Cream Cake}
Ingredients:
1 package of oreos
1/2 gallon of vanilla bean ice cream...or enter section version here: mint chocolate chip ice cream
1 tub of cool whip
Caramel or peanut butter drizzle, optional
Peanut butter cups, optional
What you do:
Crush up your oreos in a food processor or put in a gallon zip lock bag and crush. Next, in a large mixing bowl, add your choice of ice cream and cool whip together. Then, incorporate the oreos (I usually reserve a few for topping). Once mixed together, transfer to a 9x13 glass pan and add the remaining crushed oreos. Lastly, put in the freezer and allow to freeze for at least 1 hour...if you can wait that long! You can then drizzle caramel or peanut butter or add peanut butter cups on top if you desire! Enjoy!!
Today, I am linking up with the lovely Trending Tuesday ladies: Kristina, Amanda, Katie, and Zelle. What are your favorite summer sweets to make or eat?

Ashley
